Happy New Year!
I love New Years because that is the day that I also became an aunt. I am so grateful for my Nephews and Neices. I just wanted to wish Brenden a Happy Birthday from aunt Kels.
I am grateful for the New Year in the fact that you can learn from the years past and try to make things better and hopfully not make the same mistakes again.
I hope all of you have a safe and fun New Years!

Christmas
Kayla was probably the funnest this year. she has been so excited she finally gets the Santa thing. She told me after that she was right in asking Santa for everything because that is exactly what she got! I am so glad I was worried. We had a long night the night before though. She has been sick and her asthma flared up and kept us up all night long so Christmas was a very long day for us all. I am happy to report that she is feeling better though.
The day was filled with family and I am so blessed to have such wonderful family. We spent Christmas eve with Marc's family. We went to see Alvin and the Chipmunks( I highly recomend this movie), and we ate yummy soup and enjoyed fun time. We get pajamas from Marc's mom and that is always my favorite present. we get to come home and snuggle in new comfy PJ's.
Christmas morning we open presents then we went back to Marc's parents house and opened more gifts (we are way to spoiled). After we went to grandmas which we love because I get to see all my fun cousins. I missed my cousins in Washington this year but it isn't easy to fly home every year and do Christmas too. I am sure that it gets expensive. After Grandmas we came back home with all my family and got spoiled even more!
I can't believe how lucky we are and how much we have. I am grateful that at this time of year we are able to really help people who aren't as lucky.
It was a great year and I am so grateful for all that has happened this year. I am looking forward to a new year and hopefully getting into our own house. I hope that all of you can look back and be grateful for the little unexpected things that made this year great!

Zoo Lights
So marc and I are going to Texas on Wednesday. I think that it is horrible timing for an event like this to happen a week before Christmas. Marc thinks that it is great. For his work they have what they call reunion where all the salesman across the U.S. get together and get awards for the years achievments. Well this is our second year and I know what to expect this year ; I know that it will be fun but it is the worry of getting everything ready before we leave. The other bad thing is that we are flying stand by the weekend before Christmas I think that we are crazy!
I finally finished Christmas shopping. I am so happy that it is over! Hooray! Santa is welcome to come to our house now! I hope that all of you are ready and have a great week ahead.

Getting ready for Christmas
I think that I just have a bad attitude lately about the Holidays. It is such a pain when you have to decide between families when you are married... as this has happened to us this year both families have been very vocal about the time we spend with them. So because of this there will be no resting on Christmas we will be running from house to house to house.
I also am going out of town the week before Christmas and hopefully making it home intime for Christmas as we are flying stand by from Texas on the 22 of Dec. who does that? Yep me and Marc. He has a work thing that we will be attending. it is a very fun event, but there is so much that I will miss because of us going.
I love Christmas and I love seeing Kayla get excited I just can't wait till I am all ready. I hope that you are all ready and that you get to enjoy the holidays.

Start of the Holidays
MaKayla was in the Welcome Santa to the mall parade the day after Thanksgiving. It was about 30 Degrees if that. It was full of dance groups which is why Kayla was in it and people who wanted you to go to the mall when you were done at the Parade. Now here is the other dumb thing. The dance groups had to be judged on their costumes. so they had them in sweat pants a turtleneck and hooded jacket. They were not warm. By the time that the Parade was over Kayla had pulled off her ear warmer and her gloves and had snot frozen to her face. But she had a smile on her face because she saw Santa. So in hind site it was worth the freezing temp. to see that.
I also had the pleasure of going to the Nutcracker Ballet with Patti yesterday. I am amazed by these people who dedicate thier lives to Dance. It is so beautiful. I never could have been a ballerina# 1 I have a chest and these women could only dream of tissues to stuff thier bras. #2 I like food to much these girls were so thin you could see thier ribs and their full backbones that is wrong eat a cheeseburger or atleast the cheese; and finally I love dance but I am far to much of a clutz. It really was alot of fun. Patti is always a hoot when we get together and more so since she has been pregnant she has what we call the pregannacy brain.
In all it has been a long and very fun weekend. I hope that all of you are enjoying time with your families. Keep enjoying the Holidays.

Day Before Thanksgiving
I love Thanksgiving a day that you can eat and watch football and take lots of naps is a great day! I love Black Friday even more. I unfortunatly will not be able to reap the benefits of this great day this year. I have family events happening that will be worth missing it for. Even though I will miss the fight, I go just to fight even if I don't need anything it is fabulous.
The bad thing about Thanksgiving is that Christmas is right around the corner. I thought that I was going to be done with all my shopping by Thanksgiving I am not even close. I am so excited this year though MaKayla is finally old enough to be excited for the Santa thing. I am also using this to my full advantage so that she will act like she is supposed to because Santa is watching. Oh she is on her best behavior.
I am so excited about this Blog thing it is great! I hope that all of you will enjoy my crazy thoughts and just know that it is me. Have a fabulous Thanksgiving. Remember to be thankful for all that you have!
