Happy Valentines Day!

So this has been such a fun couple of days. Yesterday Kayla had her party at school and was able to pass out all of her Valentines to her fun friends. After school one of our cute Neighbors had a cookie party. She baked over 100 cookies and invited all the kids in the neighborhood preschool age and younger to come decorate cookies. She is a brave woman. After that Kayla was able to go spend the night with her Casey dad. So that meant that Marc and I were able to go on a date. We went to Madeline's Steak House. I highly recommend it. Way yummy.

Today we spent some time together shopping at Costco which is our usual Saturday afternoon. Than we went and picked up Kayla and went Bowling at Fat cats. We met up with Woody and Heather and their cute boys. SO Kayla was able to see her boyfriend on Valentines Day! We ate Pizza played games. so much fun. We got home and gave Kayla our Valentine. The Movie Tinkerbell. She was so Happy! I was glad that we were able to spend Valentines day as a family. I hope that all of you had a great time sharing with your loved ones. I love that we have a special day to remind us of all the people that we LOVE!

Life as I know it.

So I have been stuck in this routine for the past couple of months where Monday-Wednesday we would get up early Get ready drive about 15 miles to Kayla's preschool. Go to the Gym, Hang out at my parents house, hang out with Pam and her kids and come home. This has been very exhausting and we have been spending allot of money on gas and food and other things to make this happen. So about the last week in January Kayla's teacher informed us that they would be closing the school because of funding and that allot of the parents were pulling their children out because of finances. I was panicked I am a creature of habit and when that gets thrown off my whole chi is thrown off. So I turned to my wonderful new neighbors where we are now living. Luckily a lady about 7 houses down from us teaches preschool. She is very hard to get into and I took a chance calling her. It turned out that she had an opening for a 4 year old little girl. It is about 40$ a month cheaper plus what we are saving on gas and food. It turns out that I now have a better routine now that she has started this school. I have been healthier and I am finally losing the weight that I need to. What a blessing. It amazes me that things seem to work out for the best even if you are a little stressed to begin with.

And The Trophy Goes to

I am not a big fan of either of these teams this year. I am however cheering for the Cardinals. Two reasons for this are that they are the underdogs, and that I don't want the Stealer's to be the winning est franchise in the NFL. I love the Super Bowl My husband says that it is just another Holiday in February. I am so happy to eat all the good food and to have fun watching the commercials.
I hope everyone has fun and is safe.

Making Cupcakes

Kayla got a cupcake thing for Christmas and we haven't used it yet. So today we decided on this Rainy Friday to make cupcakes. We had allot of fun together. She is always telling me that I am one of her best friends. We have a ton of Cupcakes so I have to go give them away. I am trying to lose a few pounds and cupcakes aren't going to help.
