Vacation Part 1

So I better update our on fun fun girls vacation! It was so nice to get away and have fun just my sisters and Mom. It has been forever since we could just be us and not moms and wives. I have to thanks all of our husbands for letting us get away and doing such a great job with all of the kids while we were gone.
So our vacation started out on the 16Th at 1:00. Well it was supposed to everyone had a hard time getting away from families until about 2. Mine started at 1 though. We piled in the car heading out. We were starving stopped at Subway in Lehi. Um can I say that they are the slowest subway ever. Okay finally on the road bellies full. Laughing so hard having a great time! Here are car pictures I always have to have driving pictures.

We arrive in Vegas about 6:30. Go to our nice room. (Thanks to my Dad who wanted us to be taken care of!) We go for the Vegas Buffet. It was not the best but it was okay. Off to Fremont street. I know it is strange but in all the many many times of going to Vegas I had never been. Loved it! The people watching is prime.( for those of you who don't know this is a favorite past time for our family!) We laughed and had a great time. Time to drive down the strip. More people watching I love Vegas. Head back to the hotel for some great sleep.

Next morning off to the Egg and I. For those of you who have never heard of this place I highly recommend it! can you say yummy best Breakfast place ever. After that back on the road thanks to Lola. Marc's GPS he so kindly let us borrow. We would have totally been lost if not for her! We get to my Aunt and Uncles house about 7 that night. So fun to see them and catch up! I will get to the cruise and Disneyland later.

Art Show

Today at Kayla's school she had an art show. They have been learning for a month all about art. and doing different art projects to go along with what they have learned. Today they had a day where the parents got to come look at their art, and they put on a play about the rain. They also sang a song and recited a poem because those are all forms of art. The kids were so excited. I am so proud of my little artist.

My Hubby

Marc and I just shared our 4th Anniversary this last week. I can't believe how the time has flown by. I have to express how grateful I am for this man I share my life with. He so unselfishly started dating a girl who was pregnant. He was there when MaKayla was born. I think that he fell in love with her before he fell in love with me. He has stayed with me through all the craziness. He has become a daddy to MaKayla in every way. He still loves me though I am a bit ornery from time to time.( that is definetly a Hoesch thing) I am so grateful to be a Roethel. I am happy that his family loves me as much as I love them! We have been through allot on just 4 years. I love him more today than ever!
