Catching Up

SO I haven't blogged for little bit it has been a busy week. I am so glad that Christmas is over. I has such a good time but I am glad that things are getting back to normal. Well as normal as they can around here. I posted our pictures from all that we had done this month. I am so looking forward to a new year.

So yesterday we went to our little friend Coppers birthday party we had allot of fun. We even got to ride on the razor in the snow. Now for those of you who really know me i love 4-wheeling, and all that stuff that only boys are supposed to love. so this little ride for me was so much fun. I got off and told Marc that I wanted one. Here are some pics of the fun. thanks Woody for taking us on the rides.

You want What?

So my Sweet MaKayla I love her so. The things that she comes up with. The things that she says that puts me in stitches this was one that takes the cake.....

She is so smart and she is testing this whole Santa thing this year to see if what she asks he will really bring her. So we went to see Santa at South Towne mall. It was finally our turn. She is so excited and I can tell that through the line she has been thinking the whole time for what she is going to ask him for. She is impressed that he knows her name when we walk up. She looks at him sits on his lap. He says MaKayla I know that you have been good this year. She says Yep. What so you want Santa to bring you for Christmas? Santa I want a Spa Kit ( Which by the way she is not getting. It is for kids like 10 and older and was like 80$ nope not this gift.) Santa I also want a Vampire puzzle. You want What? A vampire Pillow? No Santa a Vampire Puzzle. Okay since you have been so good you will get one from Santa. Santa looks at me like I have lost my mind. What Parent would teach their child at age four to ask for a Vampire Puzzle? This was not from me. She has had this obsession since Halloween and we can't get away from Vampires.

Ugh So because of this little play out of asking Santa for a Vampire puzzle I have searches High and low for one. There is no such thing for Christmas. I am pretty sure that if she had told me that she wanted one back around Halloween no Problem. So the moral of this story is that I am thankful that my Dad is so Handy he is helping me make one for her so that he faith in Santa isn't altered.

Roethel Family Fun night

So last night was our Annual Roethel Family Christmas outing. We normally go to a movie but this year we decided to go see the lights. We started out at my in-laws house having yummy soup in bread bowls. Then went to see the lights on Temple square. It hasn't really felt like Christmas yet this year. I have been having a hard time getting in the Christmas spirit. Last night seeing the Nativity and the Christ statue put it in perspective. I had lots of fun and it wasn't too cold. I am Now ready for Christmas. Our Cute Family

Accident Prone

So this week has been rough on me. Monday it snowed so I went out to shovel our driveway. While doing that I pinched a nerve in my arm. So my arm has been hurting. Tuesday I was over at my parents house trying to take care of my mom who had a major Kidney infection. I fell off their front porch and hurt my ankle really bad. So instead of me taking care of my mom she ended up taking care of me. I called Marc and told him that he needed to lock me in a padded room for my sanity and so I wouldn't get hurt. Knowing me I would end up getting hurt anyway.
